Lexington’s Peacock Farm was conceived in 1952 by architects Walter Pierce and Danforth Compton. Pierce lived in the neighborhood until his death in 2013, during which time he refined his modernist principles. This 1963 family home home in Shaker Glen was built according to plans designed by Walter Pierce for Peacock Farm, and retains most of its original character-defining features, while remaining casual, comfortable, and inviting. Join the owners and your friends for a Mid-Century Modern-inspired cocktail party, with music and refreshments of the period, and a silent auction of accessories. Period clothing is also encouraged!
