The Photography and Polymer Clay & Beading Guilds of the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society invite you to explore the visual and dimensional worlds of the imagination at their annual Gallery Show and Sale, opening March 18th and running through April 2nd.
The artists in this exhibit communicate what they have imagined in photographic images or in objects of adornment and contemplation. Whether on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a faraway location or a neighborhood stroll, deep in the heart of the natural world or face to face with human culture and history --- these artists both look and see, and then reimagine the seen into deeply personal creations.
You’ll see new and exciting work from members of both Guilds, as well as collaborative cross-Guild projects that use photographic images as inspiration, or incorporate photographic images into three-dimensional objects. You’ll also learn about a variety of image transfer techniques for polymer clay.
Many of the gallery pieces are available for sale. In addition, a Gallery-to-Go section includes items available for immediate purchase.
