Sunday, May 5 from 2-4, the Munroe Center will open its doors to visitors to explore the many activities that happen there - both hands-on and informational. Visitors will be greeted by staff who can talk about each of the 5 schools with programs in dance, music and voice, painting/drawing, ceramics, and more! There will be opportunities to create art, dance, and enjoy some music. There will also be activities in the new makerspace where youth are encouraged to build their creative muscles. There are three floors of arts programming every season for both children and adults. Many of the schools will have information and schedules for summer camp and programs, as well as for the fall. If you haven’t been to Munroe yet, find out why so many people call it the “hidden gem” of Lexington! To see what is happening when, visit www.munroecenter.org/mca-open-house, or call the main office at 781.862.6040 for more information.
