Anyone near the parent-child relationship knows that parenthood is far from straightforward.
And yet while we recognize that parenthood is an experience rife with complexity and nuance — and there’s hardly a one-size-fits-all approach — the question remains:
How do we best support our kids’ emotional and social development?
Anastasia Galanopoulos, PhD, is a specialist in child and human development, and has coached hundreds of parents, caregivers, and educators regarding best practices in this area. Her expertise shows that parenting is an art and a science.
Using the latest in brain research and time-tested behavioral principles, this course empowers parents to confidently navigate challenging topics and help their children live happy and healthy lives.
We will discuss development from infancy to adolescence to emerging adulthood, with a special focus on the needs of group participants. Dr. Galanopoulos fosters a safe and inclusive environment where sensitive and personal issues are addressed with care and respect.
Topics will include:
- Sleep
- Nutrition
- Boundaries and Limit-Setting
- Learning
- Mental Health
- Impulse Control
