Lexington Field & Garden Club presents The Delights of Cochato Nursery Date: Wednesday, October 16 Place: The Depot, 13 Depot Square, Lexington Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM Cochato – The once local Wampanoag tribe used the word to mean “running water.” Over the years, several of our speakers have mentioned the fantastic plants and gardens at Cochato Nursery in Holbrook. Now we get to experience them too! Chuck Doughty, an avid gardener and nursery co-owner, will share the beautiful gardens at Cochato and talk about shade plants and water gardens. The exhilaration he experiences when designing and planting with plant materials and the delight he gets from watching these plants grow make his talks all the more enjoyable. Coffee at 9:30 am, Parking at the Town Lot, 50c/hr. Event is free. Everyone is welcome. Come with friends or make new ones. http://www.lexgardenclub.org
