On our May 8th, we will hear remarks from Anne Rollins & Nicole Kafalas.
Anne is the owner of embodyFitness. Anne received her Master of Science, Nutrition and Dietetics from NYU, is a board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist in the state of Massachusetts, a USAT certified Level 1 Coach and certified trainer and yoga instructor.
Years ago, coaching with the New York Road Runners Foundation youth programs introduced a cursory understanding of failing nutrition and physical activities for our youth, but becoming a parent made the challenges more clear. Navigating community issues of inactivity, over-scheduling, poor nutrition and increased stress, Anne worked to create a concept that would address these issues. She will present her concept of family friendly holistic wellness that is taught exclusively at embodyFitness.
Nicole is a health and wellness professional with over 20 years of experience. After living with lupus and MS she transformed her health with real food, exercise and stress management. She also lost 40 pounds in her 40's and is keeping it off with the plan she co-created at embodyFitness. She uses her personal experience to help hundreds of clients of all ages find the same type of results. Nicole is a lifelong resident of Lexington and been a part of the Lexington Public School as a student and parent for over 19 years. Nicole graduated from Babson College with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies.
