Innessa Manning is the President of the Cary Library Foundation. Created in 1999, the Cary Library Foundation is responsible for raising private funds to augment the budget received by Cary Library from the Town of Lexington. The Foundation allows the library to provide hundreds of programs annually for all ages, invest in its collections, and explore new innovations in technology and services. The Foundation also provides funding for capital campaigns and projects, most recently raising funds for Transformative Spaces which created the Living Room on the main floor of the library and the Teen Space in the lower level. As President, Innessa leads a volunteer board in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to achieve the Foundation’s mission.
Outside of the Cary Library Foundation Board, Innessa also serves on the Lexington Town Center and Lexington Goes Purple (Alzheimer's Awareness) Committees. She is also a founding member of the Lexington Center Artwalk Committee.
Professionally, Innessa has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, working in New York, London and Washington D.C. before moving to Boston in 2010.
